Notice is hereby given that the Community Services Department, Parks Division will receive bids for the following:
The County of Santa Barbara is currently accepting bids for the Point Sal Access Road and Culvert Repair project for the following work:
PHASE 1: The access road repair project consists of the excavation and replacement of approximately 25 vertical feet of the existing roadway, replacement of the existing 6' diameter metal culvert and headwalls with a longer and larger (7' diameter) culvert and metal headwalls. The rebuilt slopes include three 18" diameter down drains to help reduce future erosion.
PHASE 2: The culvert repair project is located approximately 1,500 feet northwest from the Phase 1 project site on the Point Sal Trail road and repairs a failed 18" diameter metal culvert approximately 1,500 feet southwest of the Phase 1 site on the Point Sal Trail road. The project consists of removal of the existing culvert and replacement with a concrete headwall, 18" diameter HDPE pipe and down drain, with rock rip rap at the outfall. The project includes slope restoration and roadway repairs, AC pavement and guard rail construction."
A mandatory job walk that prime contractors are required to attend will take place on Wednesday, August 22nd at 11:00am. Sealed bids will be due Wednesday, September 12th at 3:00pm.

The County of Santa Barbara is currently accepting bids for the Baron Ranch Trail Bridge project for construction of a new 65-foot long by 8-foot wide prefabricated bridge along with creek-side concrete abutments at the canyon entrance of Arroyo Quemado, inclusive of restoration of 50-100 square feet of impacted native riparian vegetation. A mandatory job walk that prime contractors are required to attend will take place on Thursday, August 16th at 11:00am. Sealed bids will be due Thursday, August 30th at 3:00pm.
Notice to Bid
The County of Santa Barbara is currently accepting bids for the Waller Park Water Well No. 2 project for construction, development, testing and sterilization of an irrigation water supply well drilled to a depth of approximately 1,020 feet by using reverse circulation rotary drilling. The design production capacity of the well is 800 gallons per minute (gpm) with a minimum specific capacity of 10 gallons per minute per foot of drawdown (gpm/ft). Contractor shall conduct drilling operations around-the-clock (24 hours per day) from commencement of pilot hole drilling through placement of the final sanitary seal.. A mandatory job walk that prime contractors are required to attend will take place on Tuesday, August 14th at 2:00pm. Sealed bids will be due Tuesday, August 28th at 3:00pm.
