On Friday, June 29, 2018, at about 10:22 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies from the Goleta Patrol Bureau responded to the railroad tracks near Patterson Avenue and Highway 101 for a report of a man that had been stabbed at a transient encampment.

Just before 6:00 a.m., today, deputies from the Carpinteria Station were dispatched to a report of a robbery, which had just occurred in the 3300 block of Gibraltar Road. The victims reported being robbed at knifepoint while three male suspects stole items from their car.
